The Jefferson City High School football team has a tradition in which its senior players can nominate a teacher who made a difference in their lives and present the teacher with tickets to a home game.
Carson Berendzen delivered tickets recently to Erin Carl, an agriculture teacher at Nichols Career Center.
"I have had Ms. Carl for many classes, and she has always went out of her way to help me," Berendzen said. "I can always count on Ms. Carl to give me assistance whenever I ask her."
Carl also leads the Future Farmers Association chapter at Jefferson City High School.
