HATTON, Mo. - A Hatton man was arrested and charged Friday with multiple felony counts after a lengthy Callaway County Sheriff's Office investigation.
Larry Threlkeld, 45, was charged with the following felony offenses:
- Two counts second-degree burglary,
- Second-degree arson,
- Stealing a motor vehicle,
- Two counts of stealing a firearm,
- Two counts unlawful possession of a firearm,
- Unlawful use of a weapon,
- And possession of a controlled substance.
Threlkeld was also charged with two misdemeanors: stealing and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
These charges are the result of an investigation in December for motor vehicle theft, burglary and arson in connection with a residential structure fire in the Calwood area. The investigation lead to the execution of a search warrant conducted Sept. 1 at a residence on County Road 254 near Hatton.
During the search warrant execution, Threlkeld, already a convicted felon, was found to be in possession of firearms, stolen property and narcotics.
He is being held on a $30,000 bond.
The Missouri Fire Marshal's Office assisted with the investigations. The investigation is ongoing and further charges could be forthcoming.
