The Pre-Health Care Professionals Association, along with the help of Tri-Beta at Westminster College, are hosting a 5K run/walk at 11 a.m. Saturday.
This "Miles for Massai" event aims to raise money for Humanity for Children's safe birthing initiative in Tanzania led mainly by Dr. Bob Hansen.

The registration fee is $10. The first 40 people to arrive at Latshaw Plaza, where the 5K begins and ends, on the day of the event will also receive a T-shirt.
Each safe birthing kit costs about $8.50 to create. For every participant's fee, HFC will be able to provide Massai midwives with a kit.
