Parents of Fulton students reported receiving notice from school officials about 1:45 p.m. Thursday telling them police received a report(s) of shots fired on the east side of town between Fulton Middle and Missouri School for the Deaf.
Fulton Middle and other schools were briefly put on lock-down until police gave the all-clear about 10 minutes later.
UPDATE 2:10 p.m.
Due to a parent report of another gunshot in the area of Bush Elementary, there is a continued the external lockdown at Bush. Students are safe and secure, according to Fulton school officials.
