The Fulton Police Department arrested two people after spotting an illegally parked vehicle early Monday morning, according to Sgt. Lance Reams.

Police were patrolling the 900 block of East 9th Street at 1:14 a.m. looking for Trent Parker, of Fulton, when they spotted the vehicle. Reams said a person ran out of the vehicle, which subsequently drove off.

The vehicle was stopped and officers discovered Parker was the driver. He was arrested on a Holts Summit warrant and for possession of a firearm, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Police also learned Jennifer Graves, of Warrenton, was the owner of the vehicle and was its passenger at the time. She was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, Reams added. Both were transported to Callaway County Jail pending bond.
