Evening Rotary collects massive amount of food

The Callaway Senior Center has 690 additional pounds of food, thanks to the generosity of the community and the work of the Evening Rotary Club of Fulton.

Members of the club collected non-perishable food items at C&R Market and Moser's on Saturdays in September. Cliff Atterberry, service chair for the club, also collected items at the Missouri Job Center in Fulton during the week.

The Evening Rotary Club, a satellite of the Rotary Club of Fulton, was established last spring for community members who were unable to attend noon meetings. The club meets from 6-7 p.m. the third Monday of each month at KACO-the Kitchen and conducts service projects at other times during the month.

Casey Clevenger is the chair, and Carol England is the chair-elect. Other board members, are Andrea Whelan, secretary; Tim Conner, treasurer; Brittany Abbott, program chair; Ilana Holland, membership chair; and Denise Kingsley and Nancy Hanson, co-social chairs.
