Callaway County Sheriff’s deputies made two drug-related arrests Nov. 14, according to Lt. Curtis Hall.

At 1:44 p.m., deputies followed up on a property damage complaint on County Road 108, east of Fulton. While investigating, deputies contacted Richard Vaughn, 34, of Fulton. Vaughn was arrested for second-degree property damage, and deputies discovered he was in possession of felony controlled substances, Hall said.

Vaughn was taken to the Callaway County Jail, where he posted a $9,000 bond and was released pending court appearance.

In a separate incident later that day, deputies investigated a suspicious activity complaint on Tower Road in Fulton. A deputy conducted a traffic stop during the investigation and spoke to Latesha Lasha Lindstedt, 19, of Fulton.

Hall said deputies discovered she was wanted on a warrant for trespassing issued in Fulton. Lindstedt was arrested; following her arrest, deputies found marijuana in her possession, Hall added.

Lindstedt was transported to the Callaway County Jail and posted a court-set bond of $200. She was released pending court appearance.

Hall said these investigations are ongoing and could lead to further charges. Drug-related activity can be reported to Crimestoppers at 573-592-2474 or online at callawaysheriff.org.
