HOLTS SUMMIT, Mo. — A wanted Jefferson City man was arrested Thursday following a disturbance complaint, according to Lt. Curtis Hall, of the Callaway County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to a disturbance-in-progress report at about noon at the Evergreen Apartment Complex near Holts Summit. Upon arrival, deputies came into contact with James Sanders, 29.
While investigating, deputies discovered Sanders was in possession of methamphetamine, Hall said. Deputies also learned he was wanted under a Jefferson City municipal warrant for past traffic offenses.
Sanders was arrested for that warrant and for felony possession of a controlled substance. Hall said more charges could be added as the investigation continues. Sanders was transported to the Callaway County Jail, and his bond was set at $5,121, Hall added.
