Fulton man arrested for drugs

A Fulton man was arrested at 8:12 a.m. Thursday when Callaway County Sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant at 812 Bluff St., Apartment A in Fulton.

The search warrant had been obtained as the result of a Callaway County Sheriff's Office narcotics investigation. The Fulton Police Department's Special Response Unit and the Mustang drug task force assisted with the investigation and warrant execution.

During the search, crack cocaine, marijuana and evidence of drug sales were found, according to Sheriff's Lt. Curtis Hall. Dion Butler, 28, was arrested for felony delivery of a controlled substance.

Butler was transported to the Callaway County Jail where he is being without bond pending a judge bond setting. The investigation is ongoing and further charges could be forthcoming.
