Three arrested after Tuesday incidents

Callaway County Sheriff's officials reported the following crimes Wednesday:
Two Columbia residents, Andrea Martin, 41, and Robert Gibson, 41, were arrested Tuesday. At 8:06 p.m., a deputy was traveling on Route HH northwest of Fulton and observed a southbound vehicle being operated by Martin. The deputy knew Martin was a wanted fugitive out of Callaway and Montgomery counties for felony stealing charges. The deputy conducted a registration check on the observed vehicle and determined it to be stolen out of Columbia.
Several Callaway County deputies, Fulton Police Department officers and Missouri Highway Patrol troopers converged on the area. Once the suspect vehicle neared Fulton, it turned onto County Road 204, and a traffic stop was initiated. Upon the stop, there were four subjects in the vehicle, all of whom were detained pending further investigation.
Subsequently, Martin and Gibson were arrested. The other two subjects were later released with no charges. Both Martin and Gibson were transported to the Callaway County Jail, where they remain pending bond posting. Charges/bonds as follows:
Martin felony Callaway County warrant, felony Montgomery County warrant and first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle. Bond of $47,500.
Gibson - Possession of an illegal weapon and possession of drug paraphernalia; bond of $1,000.
The investigation is ongoing.
A Fulton man, Aaron J. Lamons, 31, was arrested Tuesday. At 9:53 p.m., a deputy was flagged down in Kingdom City by a witness regarding a motor vehicle accident that had just occurred. The witness reported one of the vehicles, a white minivan with front-end damage, fled the scene.
The deputy located the minivan near the U.S. 54 and Old Highway 54 intersection north of Kingdom City and attempted to stop it. The driver refused to stop, and a vehicle pursuit ensued on Old Highway 54 where the vehicle lost control several times and eventually became disabled south of Auxvasse.
Deputies, assisted by the Highway Patrol, took the driver, identified Lamons, into custody at 9:59 p.m. Based on evidence collected from the vehicle and observations, it was believed Lamons was intoxicated. He was uncooperative and made several threats to find law enforcement off-duty and physically assault them.
Lamons refused a breath test, and a search warrant was obtained for a blood sample. He was taken to an area hospital where a blood draw was collected and then taken to the Callaway County Jail.
Lamons remains in custody on no bond for: Driving while intoxicated, felony resisting arrest, operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner involving an accident, felony leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, driving while suspended, failure to yield to emergency vehicle, and other charges.
The Patrol investigated the original motor vehicle accident. Both the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Auxvasse Police Department provided assistance with the vehicle pursuit. The investigation is ongoing and further charges could be forthcoming.
