A Rhineland man was arrested in Fulton Wednesday after a robbery, according to Sgt. Crystal Kent.

Ryan Michael Dooley, 22, was taken into custody after the Fulton Police Department investigated a reported robbery. The crime was reported at a residence at 3:43 a.m in the 200 block of King Street, Kent stated in press release.

Officers arriving at the scene were told a leaf blower had been removed from a locked shed. It and several other items were scattered around the property.

The officers concluded a suspect sneaked into the house while two of its residents were home. The suspect then snatched several items and fled the scene, leaving behind two items with his own information on them.

At about 10 p.m. on Tuesday, the Fulton Police Department located Dooley and arrested him for first degree burglary, felony stealing and stealing of a firearm. He is currently being held at the Callaway County Jail without bond.

The investigation is ongoing and may result in further charges, Kent stated.
