A wanted Fulton man was caught with 19 bags of marijuana on Thursday, according to Sgt. Tim Howell of the Fulton Police Department.

An officer was on patrol at about 7:30 p.m. when he spotted Gerald Dean Wolfe, 31. Howell said the officer recognized Wolfe, who was under a Callaway County warrant for domestic assault. The officer confirmed the warrant was active and then pulled Wolfe over near North Bluff streets and 10th streets.

In the course of arresting Wolfe, the officer found numerous individually wrapped bags of marijuana on Wolfe's person and in the car, Howell stated. He added when weighed, the bags totalled just under 45 grams, or about 1.6 ounces.

Wolfe was arrested and brought to Callaway County Jail for the warrant and for delivery of a controlled substance. His bond has been set at $9,000.
