A fish kill was recently reported in McKinney Creek in northern Callaway County, according to Connie Patterson, director of communications for the state Department of Natural Resources.
"Staff from our Northeast Regional Office in Macon responded last week and collected water samples," she said.
The department's investigation report is not ready at this time, she said. The state's Department of Conservation also responded and will provide a fish kill report.
