Troopers report crashes

Missouri Highway Patrol troopers reported a Fulton resident received minor injuries in a one-car crash reported at 12:25 p.m. Wednesday.

Lynne M. Hinde, 44, was reportedly not wearing a safety device when a 2012 Ford Fusion Hinde was driving went of the right side of Route J, at Elm Avenue. The car overturned and received moderate damage, troopers said.

On Sunday, troopers also responded to a 1:20 p.m. crash on eastbound Interstate 70, just west of mile marker 156.4.

A 2014 Acura driven by Vickie A. Howe, 50, of Ballwin, slowed for traffic and was struck in the rear by a 2000 Western Star tractor trailer driven by Gary L. Stalter, 66, of Cowpens, South Carolina. Howe received minor injuries but the Acura was totaled.

Also on Sunday, an accident was reported at 11 a.m. on Route J, just west of Route RA. A 2004 Harley Davidson driven by Shawn P. Dey, 53, of Fulton, struck a sign. Dey received minor injuries, troopers said.

At 9:45 a.m. July 14, three vehicles including a 2017 Freightliner semi driven by Kristopher N. Rothermich, 26, of O'Fallon, were involved in a crash on westbound Interstate 70 at mile marker 137.6. A 2014 Ford Focus driven by Nickki J. Fox, 28, of Fulton, was attempting to merge when it was hit by the Freightliner, troopers reported. The Focus ran off the right side of the road striking a cable barrier, and was then hit by a 2012 Toyota Highlander driven by Rachelle L. Bauer, 59, of Wentzville. Fox received minor injuries, troopers said.
