A Jefferson City man was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Cooper County.
James Moss, 20, was hit by a vehicle driven by Kenneth Christiansen, of Grandview, while changing a flat tire on westbound I-70 near the 101.4 mile marker, according to a Missouri Highway Patrol report.
The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Moss was airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
