College students to help clean up Stinson Creek

Students from William Woods University spend part of this afternoon cleaning up a portion of the Stinson Creek. It is part of a Fulton Stream Team activity.

Beginning at noon, the students will scour the creek near Memorial Park for trash and debris. Trash bags, T-shirts and other supplies are being provided by the City of Fulton.

The Fulton Stream Team was created by the City's engineering department in 2016 as way to better address pollution of Fulton's waterways. Throughout the year, the group holds events and meetings to better inform the public on ways to reduce pollution.
