Wanted man arrested in Fulton

A wanted Fulton fugitive was arrested Wednesday, Lt. Curtis Hall of the Callaway County Sheriff's Office said.

While conducting follow-up on a theft investigation, deputies and Fulton Police Department officers searched a residence in the 600 block of South U.S. Business 54.

Hall stated at about 1:45 a.m., deputies and officers found Lamont Dyer, 29. Deputies determined Dyer was under a Cole County warrant for first degree stalking, a felony charge.

He was arrested and transported to the Callaway County Jail, Hall said.

The investigation is ongoing and more charges could be forthcoming, he added.
