Law enforcement officials in Sullivan have arrested a man charged in Callaway County on several felonies.
Christopher Laird, 28, was apprehended Tuesday by Sullivan police on unrelated charges, Sheriff Clay Chism. Chism added Laird eventually will be extradited to Callaway County.
Laird was charged Nov. 22 with the felony offenses of first-degree child molestation, second-degree child molestation and sodomy. He was charged as the result of a Callaway County Sheriff's Office investigation conducted near Holts Summit, in conjunction with the state of Missouri Children's Division.
