Today:

Light and Shadow Art Exhibit, opening reception. 6-8 p.m. Mildred M. Cox Gallery, Gladys W. Kemper Center for the Arts, William Woods University, Fulton. Cocktail reception, 50-100 art pieces created to explore interdependence of light and shadow.

Auto World Museum special exhibit, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., 200 Peacock Drive, Fulton. autoworldmuseum.com. Check out one of the largest private collections of rare and vintage cars in the Midwest, including a solar car, a rare "Moon" car built in St. Louis, a Stanley Steamer and more.

Saturday:

Fulton Farmer's Market, 9 a.m.-noon, 5th Street in front of Callaway County Courthouse in downtown Fulton. Light and Shadow booth featuring "plein air" art demonstration by artist Jane Mudd. Live music, crafts, produce. Kids activities station at Callaway County Library.

The Art House, 1-4 p.m. Create a 12-by-16-inch oil on canvas painting to commemorate 2017 total eclipse over America. Solar eclipse viewing glasses. Class is $35 in advance and walk-ins if space.

Eighth annual BBQ Fundraiser for Our House: Caring for Callaway's Homeless, 4-7 p.m. Memorial Park, Fulton.

Hot air balloon glow at Sip with the Eclipse at Serenity Valley Winery, 7-10 p.m. plus vendors and live music. $5 per person.

Monday:

Holts Summit Total Eclipse of the Park, Greenway Park, 282 S. Greenway Drive. 11 a.m. -3 p.m. Barbecue, hot dogs and more. Bring chairs and eclipse glasses, which are $2 and also available at city hall.

Prairie Chapel Church, 3700 Country Road 227, Fulton. Ice cream. 12:30-1:45 p.m. Bring a lawn chair.

Westminster College will have an educational lecture at 11 a.m. in Champ auditorium, followed by a barbecue luncheon (Backer dining hall and the football field) and viewing from the football field, West Seventh Street, Fulton. The public is invited.
