Backpacks for children

The Fulton Walmart team, Fulton VFW, 83 Helpers and the VFW Auxillary all came together Aug. 7 to provide backpacks filled with school supplies for the children enrolled in the Buddy Pack Program.

The program currently exists in Bush, McIntire and Bartley elementary schools, and Walmart is involved in delivering those Buddy Packs weekly. About 120 backpacks were filled with supplies that will be delivered to those students the first week of school.
