Multiple injured in Friday crashes

Two fatalities reported on U.S. 63

A Fulton woman was arrested after a two-vehicle accident Friday night in Boone County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show Jessica Austin, 31, was arrested for two counts of second-degree assault, failure to register a motor vehicle and having no insurance.

The crash occurred on Route WW, about a half-mile east of Purdy Road, at 8:08 p.m.

Austin crossed the center line of the road and struck a vehicle driven by Bonnie Northup, 25, of Fulton, head on.

Austin and Northup were treated for serious injuries while Northup's passenger, Lanfford Northup, 3, was treated for moderate injuries.

Two women were killed Friday night in a two-vehicle crash in Maries County.

Patrol reports show the crash occurred on U.S. 63, just north of the southern junction of Missouri 28, around 7:55 p.m.

Investigators were unable to determine who was driving the first vehicle. They said Marquia Lewis, 23, of Florissant, and Valencia McKinney, 22, of St. Louis, were inside the vehicle. That vehicle lost control, travelled across the center line of the road and was struck by a vehicle driven by Mark Ryan, 58, of St. Louis.

The first vehicle came to rest off the right side of the road and caught fire.

Ryan's vehicle came to rest in the roadway and blocked the northbound lanes of traffic.

Lewis and McKinney were pronounced dead at the scene.

Ryan and his passenger, Barbara Ryan, 57, of St. Louis, were treated for serious injuries.

Six people were hurt in a two-vehicle accident Friday night in Osage County.

Patrol reports show this happened at 6 p.m. on Missouri 100, just south of County Road 310.

A vehicle driven by Samuel Crider, 36, of Fulton, hydroplaned on the wet highway, crossed the center line and struck a vehicle driven by Lara Uthe, 32, of Chamois, head on.

Crider was treated for minor injuries as were his passengers, Jayce Crider, 4, of Fulton, and Aubriana Crider, 2, of Fulton. Another passenger, Dareion Crider, 8, of Fulton, was treated for serious injuries, and Krystal Crider, 20, of Fulton, was treated for moderate injuries.

Uthe was treated for minor injuries.

Eleven people were hurt in a two-vehicle accident Friday afternoon in Camden County.

Patrol reports show the crash occurred on U.S. 54 westbound at West Valley at 4:09 p.m.

A vehicle driven by Zachary D. Puckett, 30, of Eugene, failed to yield to a vehicle driven by Paige Norman, 18, of Camdenton. Puckett was struck broadside Norman.

Puckett was treated for serious injuries as were his passengers, Zachary J. Puckett, 4, of Osage Beach, and Maria Klelin, 36, of Eldon. Other passengers hurt included David Puckett, 7, of Osage Beach, who was treated for moderate injuries, while Hunter Klein, 16, of Camdenton, Matthew Klein, 15, of Camdenton, and Enrique Santiago, 16, of Osage Beach, were all treated for minor injuries.

Norman was treated for minor injuries along with her passengers Tyler Hammond, 21, of Camdenton, and Dylan Osborn, 20, of Camdenton. Another passenger, Taylor Hammond, 19, of Camdenton, was treated for moderate injuries.
