Cody Whalen recently joined The Callaway Bank as an agriculture lender.
Whalen will be responsible for taking care of the banking needs of existing Callaway Bank customers, as well as developing new banking relationships.
"Cody grew up on a farm and is familiar with the challenges and opportunities ag producers face," said Rick Gohring, Callaway County market president. "Cody's agricultural background, coupled with his lending experience, will serve our customers well."
After graduating from Mexico High School, he attended William Woods University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration.
"Growing up on a farm has taught me how important farming is to local communities and to the economy in general," Whalen said. "I just want to be a part of helping farmers succeed."
