Officials from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education are planning regional meetings, and one will be in Fulton.
The 2016 Regional Meetings on Education will be an engaged conversation about what parents and residents think matters most in public education. School administrators, principals, teachers, parents, students and community members are invited.
The Fulton meeting is planned at 6 p.m. Sept. 8 at Fulton High School. To RSVP, contact the department's Communications Office at 573-751-3469.

Southwest: Bolivar High School Auditorium, Sept. 6
Northeast: Kirksville High School Cafeteria, Sept. 7
Northwest: Oak Grove Elementary School, St. Joseph, Sept. 15
South central: Salem Upper Elementary, Sept. 19
West central: Heckart Performing Arts Center, Sedalia, Sept. 20
Kansas City region: Blue Springs High School South, Sept. 21
St. Louis region: Pattonville High School, Maryland Heights, Sept. 28
Southeast: Cape Career and Technology Center, Cape Girardeau, Oct. 4.
