Three up-and-coming comedians are coming 8:30 p.m. Friday to Avenue HQ in Jefferson City.

Headliner Andy Gross is not only a comedian, but performs magic and ventriloquism. Gross has gained fame with his videos on the internet, which have 150 million views and counting. He performs more than 180 shows a year at comedy clubs, Las Vegas, cruise ships, Fortune 500 corporate events, colleges and performing arts theaters across the country. Gross has made appearances on "The Ellen Show" and an NBC special.

Avenue HQ co-owner Quentin Rice said they are also excited to welcome JC Sibala from St. Louis, who has performed at clubs and colleges across the country and has won the title of Funniest Person in St. Louis.

"Lisa Pockets will also be there, and she was our very first female comic to hit our stage, so we are very excited to have her back," Rice said.

"This show will be a little different from our others. There's more than just comedy coming to the Avenue HQ stage. We hope our guests walk away in amazement with a smile on their face."

Beverage service will be provided by Shrunken Head Tropic Lounge.

Tickets are only $15. They are available online at avenuehq.space or for purchase at the door.

"I'm always looking to give local comedians an opportunity to play in front of a crowd before a national headliner," Rice said. "We find them at the open mic night that I host at the Mission and comedians refer names to us. It's great to open doors for all the comedians."
