A Fulton home suffered serious damage in a fire Thursday morning. Fulton Fire Chief Dean Buffington said when his crews arrived on scene at 211 Jefferson St., "flames were shooting out the windows clear out into the yard."
Because of secondary road conditions, South Callaway R-II School District announced Sunday evening that classes for Monday, Feb. 10, would be canceled.

After three hours of deliberation, the jury found Sandra Plunkett guilty of murder in the first degree Friday afternoon. They also delivered a guilty verdict on charges of armed criminal action.
