Boys’ Tennis: Fulton 7, Mexico 5

MEXICO, Mo. — The Hornets won four of six singles matches in turning back the rival Bulldogs in Friday night’s North Central Missouri Conference victory.

Fulton evened its season record at 9-9 and wrapped up NCMC play with a 2-4 mark.

•No. 1 singles: sophomore Haydon Windsor (F) defeated Richard Stamy (M), 10-2; No. 2: senior Gage Oestreich (F) def. Andrew Whitworth (M), 10-3; No. 3: junior Justin Adams (F) def. Ben Hamilton (M), 10-2; No. 4: junior Grant Hendricks (F) def. Lary Dye (M), 10-3; No. 5: Hayden Foreman (M) def. sophomore Devin Ferro (F), 10-8; No. 6: Ryan Shoper (M) def. junior James Hill (F), 10-7.

•No. 1 doubles: Windsor/Adams (F) def. Stamy/Sam Hobbs (M), 10-4; No. 2: Oestreich/Hendricks (F) def. Whitworth/Hamilton (M), 10-8; No. 3: Ferro/Hill (F) def. The Hornets were coming off a 9-0 shutout of Battle on Thursday night in Columbia. Here are singles and doubles results:

Fulton returns home for a contest against Columbia Indepdendent at 4:30 p.m. Monday.
