Fulton man crashed motorcyle in chase

A Fulton man was arrested Sunday after a police chase ended in an accident.

Brandon Harrison, 31, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated-drugs, unlawful use of a weapon, no operator's license, speeding, carless and imprudent driving involving accident, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana, fail to yield to an emergency vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.

At 9:47 p.m. Sunday, Fulton police officers attempted to stop a black motorcycle on South Business Route 54 for traveling 70 mph in a 30 mph posted zone. Harrison failed to stop and led officers on a pursuit out of the city on State Route F to Route KK, where he crashed, according to a Fulton Police Department release.

Harrison was thrown from his motorcycle, but was not injured. He was taken into custody and taken to the Callaway County Jail. He has been released on a $7,383 bond.
