MONTGOMERY CITY - Khobi Kellerman buried a halfcourt shot at the buzzer to send the North Callaway Thunderbirds to the dramatic 48-45 semifinal win over the New Haven Shamrocks at the Montgomery County JV Tournament on Wednesday night.
Sam Althiser produced a team-high 20 points for North Callaway (8-4) and Andrew Locastro chipped in with 10.
The Thunderbirds meet South Callaway for the tournament championship at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the high school gym.
