Police: 2 robberies may be related

Fulton police are looking for a connection between two armed robberies at two Fulton stores this weekend that may involve the same suspects.

Police said in the most recent incident, one man who was described as wearing all black and another man wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans, entered the Fastlane on Amerihost Drive at about 1:48 a.m. Sunday. According to the police report, the clerk said the man wearing all black pointed a gun at him before demanding money from the register.

The first robbery happened at the Xpress Mart on Business 54 at about 9:41 p.m. Friday, police said. The store clerk told responding officers that two men wearing all black entered the store and one demanded cash from the register. They also stole some merchandise before fleeing.

Police described the suspects in both incidents as black males wearing dark clothing.

They said an undisclosed amount of money was reported missing from both stores, and no one was injured during the robberies.
