MSD girls suffer narrow loss to Jamestown

Missouri School for the Deaf tumbled to 0-6 on the season after Wednesday night's 29-22 home loss to Jamestown in a matchup between Lady Eagles.

Junior center Avalon Saxton topped MSD with nine points, 17 rebounds and six blocked shots, while freshman guard Delanzia Hayes scored seven points. Junior forward Elizabeth Harrison supplied six points, five rebounds, three steals and three blocked shots.

"We incorporated a new play, which was very successful against their defense," MSD head coach Sydnee Kuster said. "However, we just weren't able to get enough shots up."
