Prairie Home powers past Eagles

PRAIRIE HOME - The weary Missouri School for the Deaf Eagles fell behind 43-17 at halftime in falling to the Prairie Home Panthers 73-44 on Thursday night.

Senior guard Joseph Allen produced a team-high 19 points to guide three players in double figures for MSD (0-4), which was playing its third straight road game in as many nights. Junior guard Ste'Quan Scott provided 15 points and junior forward Scotty Percy delivered a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

"We just couldn't get up and down the court with them," Eagles head coach Dick Keller said. "We were exhausted most of the night."

Ross Kendrick led Prairie Home with a game-high 26 points and Creed Flood followed with 20.

MSD hosts Jamestown at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
