Lady Bulldogs bury Wellsville in 73-30 blitz

WELLSVILLE - South Callaway sophomore forward Adrian Mann supplied a game-high 21 points Tuesday night as the Lady Bulldogs easily disposed of Wellsville in a 73-30 romp.

South Callaway (16-5) raced into halftime with a commanding 37-15 advantage and turned the contest into a runaway by outscoring Wellsville 36-15 in the second half.

Mann was one of three players to reach double figures for the Lady Bulldogs. Junior center Konnor Arrowood tallied 15 points and junior guard Caitlyn Chapman added 13.

"We came out defensively and got a lot of steals up top, and that turned into breakaway layups," South Callaway head coach Darren Humphrey said. "The girls saw the floor very well and our passes were on key."

The Lady Bulldogs return to Show-Me Conference play when they host Fatima at 6 p.m. Friday.
