MEXICO - The North Callaway Thunderbirds junior varsity fell to the Bowling Green Bobcats 46-40 in the third-place game of the Mexico Tournament on Saturday.
Freshman guard Khobi Kellerman led North Callaway (10-7) with nine points.
The Thunderbirds also lost to Boonville 65-35 in their tournament opener earlier Saturday. Sophomore forward Sam Althiser scored a team-high 11 points.
The Thunderbirds host Wright City at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
