Lady Eagles drop pair in Oklahoma

SULPHUR, Okla. - Freshman guard Delanzia Hayes produced a team-high 12 points for the Missouri School for the Deaf Lady Eagles in Saturday night's 47-30 loss to the Oklahoma School for the Deaf Lady Indians.

Junior center Avalon Saxton also supplied eight points and 11 rebounds for MSD (2-8), while junior forward Elizabeth Harrison contributed six points.

The Lady Eagles opened their doubleheader in Oklahoma with a narrow 41-36 loss to the Arkansas School for the Deaf on Saturday morning.

Hayes paced MSD again with 18 points, while Saxton finished with nine points and eight rebounds.

The Lady Eagles played at Chamois on Tuesday night. Results were not available at press time.
