ST. LOUIS — The third-seeded Blue Jays ended their season by placing fourth in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference postseason tournament Friday.
Westminster opened tournament play with a 5-1 loss to No. 2 Principia (Illinois) College, then shut out No. 5 Fontbonne University 5-0 in consolation play. The Blue Jays were edged by No. 4 Webster University 5-4 in the third-place match.
Westminster completed its season with a 5-7 record.
