Boys’ Tennis: Fulton 8, Father Tolton 1

The Hornets raised their season record to 4-7 with Thursday night’s convincing victory over the Trailblazers at the high school athletic complex.

“It was nice to get back on the winning side after a bit of a slide,” Fulton head coach Rob Fisher said. “The guys played at their highest level.”

•No. 1 singles: sophomore Haydon Windsor (F) defeated Drew Hendrick (FT), 8-2; No. 2: senior Gage Oestreich (F) def. Josh Terrana (FT), 8-6; No. 3: junior Justin Adams (F) def. Chase Jeffery (FT), 8-1; No. 4: junior Grant Hendricks (F) def. Matthew Chase (FT), 8-1; No. 5: sophomore Devin Ferro (F) def. Benjamin Goedrich (FT), 8-2; No. 6: Carson Gonzalez (FT) def. junior James Hill (F), 8-6.

•No. 1 doubles: Windsor/Adams (F) def. Hendrick/Terrana (FT), 8-4; No. 2: Oestreich/Hendricks (F) def. Jeffery/Goedrich (FT), 8-3; No. 3: Ferro/Hill (F) def. Gonzalez/Devin Harvey (FT), 8-2.

The Hornets travel to Boonville to play in the Pirate Classic at 9 a.m. Saturday.
