Davis, Gaines guide Fulton boys at Boonville meet

BOONVILLE, Mo. — Fulton sophomores Ammod Davis and Mason Gaines both posted a pair of second-place finishes to pace the Hornets at the McCush Relays on Friday.

Davis took second in the 100 (11.3 seconds) and 200 (:23.5) meters, while Gaines came in second in the 1,600 (4:50.2) and 3,200 (10:16.3). Senior Luke Lohmeyer also placed fourth in the pole vault (10 feet, 6 inches) for Fulton.

In the girls’ division, senior Madi Tobias tied for third place in the high jump (4-8) for the Lady Hornets and sophomore Kate Pani was fourth in the long jump (14-9).

Fulton competes at the School of the Osage Invitational at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
