Boys Tennis: Fulton 8, Moberly 4

After logging their first victory of the season last week, the Hornets cracked the win column in North Central Missouri Conference play with Friday night's triumph over the Spartans at the high school athletic complex.

Fulton - coming off an 8-1 victory at the Missouri Military Academy last Tuesday night - evened its season record at 2-2 and its NCMC mark at 1-1 with Friday night's win.

"Everybody was playing at a really high level and guys stepped up in spots they're not used to," Hornets head coach Rob Fisher said. "It was nice to get wins up and down the lineup."

•No. 1 singles: sophomore Haydon Windsor (F) defeated Christopher Armstrong (M), 10-1; No. 2: senior Gage Oestreich (F) def. Gerardo Arteaga (M), 10-5; No. 3: junior Justin Adams (F) def.
