Officers of the Fulton Police Department were involved in a car chase through Fulton early morning Monday.

After an officer identified the driver of a vehicle as Nicholas Clark, who had a parole warrant for his arrest, the officers pursued him. A chase followed beginning at the intersection of Grand Street and Eighth Street, according to a press release. The pursuit continued until Clark knocked over several road signs and then drove off the road at the intersection of Fourth Street and Jefferson Street, Chief Steve Myers said. Clark then fled the scene on foot.

He was located and arrested on Wednesday in the 300 block of Steidemann Street for a parole warrant, careless and imprudent driving, resisting arrest, leaving the scene of an accident, first-degree property damage and other minor traffic offenses.

Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Fulton Police Department at (573) 592-3100.
