The Westminster College Lady Blue Jays soccer team suffered its second loss in a row as it was shut out by the Central (Iowa) College Lady Dutch 2-0 on Wednesday night at Fulton High School.
Anissa Stanitzek supplied the only goal of the match in the 17th minute for Central College (4-2).
Westminster College (2-3-1) was outshot 18-14, including 9-7 in shots on goal. The Lady Dutch also had a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Junior goalkeeper Ellen Woolsey made eight saves in taking the loss for the Lady Blue Jays.
Westminster plays at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, at 1 p.m. Sunday.
