Lady Blue Jays volleyball team drops narrow SLIAC loss at Principia

ELSAH, Ill. - The Westminster College Lady Blue Jays volleyball team dropped to 4-4 overall and 1-2 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference after Tuesday night's 20-25, 25-21, 25-21, 22-25 and 17-15 loss to the Principia College Lady Panthers.

Sophomore outside hitter Hannah Marshall paced Westminster College with 19 kills, followed by junior middle hitter Amanda Kiso with 13. Junior setter Kayla Reeg tallied 51 assists and freshman defensive specialist Bridget Ringwald registered 32 digs.

The Lady Blue Jays played their home opener against SLIAC foe Blackburn (Ill.) College on Wednesday night. Results were not available at press time.
