ST. LOUIS - Senior Jesse Edwards came in 12th individually in 17 minutes, 15 seconds as the Westminster College Blue Jays cross country team finished sixth out of 10 squads at the Forest Park Festival on Friday.
In the women's division, sophomore Taylor Howard - a South Callaway graduate - placed 20th in 21:08 to guide Westminster College to a seventh-place finish out of 11 teams.
Also placing for the Blue Jays were junior Glenn Teubner (22nd, 17:47), senior Will Megl (25th, 18:03), sophomore Nathan Wilson (45th, 19:00), and senior Jordan Jensen (54th, 19:50).
Other finishers for the Lady Blue Jays included freshman Jessie Kuykendall (23rd, 21:16), sophomore Madison Zack (39th, 22:49), senior Claire Gibby (53rd, 24:06), and freshman Cora Panettiere (67th, 28:25).
Both Westminster teams compete at the Augustana Invitational in Rock Island, Ill., at 5 p.m. Friday.
