Senior Joseph Allen combined for 231 total yards and six touchdowns Saturday night as the Missouri School for the Deaf Eagles football team held on for a wild 62-60 homecoming victory over the Arkansas School for the Deaf Leopards.
Allen rushed for 142 yards and three touchdowns, and had four catches for 89 yards receiving and three more scores for MSD (1-1). Defensively, he racked up 14 tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery.
Ste'Quan Scott passed for 224 yards and five touchdowns for the Eagles, while also recording eight tackles and an interception. Junior Scotty Percy had three catches for 64 yards and a score, and complemented that effort with 13 tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery.
MSD plays at Kansas School for the Deaf at 2 p.m. Saturday.
