Only a minor injury was reported following a vehicle collision at the intersection of Jefferson Street and Fourth Street Friday.
A red Ford Escape was crossing Fourth Street via Jefferson when it cut in front of a Charter-owned, white Dodge Caravan. On impact the airbag of the Caravan deployed and the Escape tipped onto its driver's side, Lt. Ken Ludwig of the Fulton Police Department said.
Ludwig said neither vehicle was speeding at the time of the accident.
"Vehicles with narrow wheel bases and higher center of gravity tend to turn over easier," Ludwig said. "Sometimes if you hit something at the right point the laws of physics take over."
The driver of the Caravan received a minor surface injury to his left wrist when the airbag deployed but refused further treatment.
