City of Fulton holds appreciation day for Public Power Week.

The City of Fulton will host festivities to celebrate Public Power Week, held Oct. 4 - 10.

The city will hold an appreciation day for the electrical services it provides to the community at the Tanglewood Golf Course Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The city's utility truck will be on site for residents to see. Fulton citizens will also see a demonstration on how electricity works. Attendees may be entered in a drawing for chance to win a $20 Tanglewood Pro Shop gift certificate. Popcorn will be available to those who attend.

The city will join more than 2,000 city-owned utilities across America to celebrate Public Power Week.
