The Callaway County Historical Society honored 55 veterans, mostly Vietnam-era servicemen, Wednesday with an open house at the downtown museum. DAR Regent Nelta Cherry (left) presents Vietnam veteran Wayne R. Bill a certificate of appreciation, and the Historical Society distributed commemorative pins to the servicemen. A pair of Korean War vets and a vet from World War II were also honored.
