Hornets junior Gage Oestreich tallied a 33-over-par 104, placing 52nd at the Class 3, Sectional 2 championships on Monday at Quail Creek Golf Course.
"Gage had an up-and-down year," Fulton head coach Pat Kelley said. "He struggled with some things in the middle of the year, but he always had a great attitude and today was no different.
"He came off the course with a smile on his face and saw it as an experience for his senior year."
Brett Windsor of Boonville won the sectional title with an even-par 72. MICDS took home the team championship by totaling a 319.
