Fulton tumbles to Richland in District 7 tennis action

Freshman Haydon Windsor got the lone win for the No. 5 seeded Hornets, who wrapped up their team season with a 5-1 Class 1, District 7 loss to the Rebels on Monday.

Windsor defeated Richland's Logan Mathis 6-3, 6-2 in No. 1 singles.

•No. 1 doubles: Mathis/McCarty (R) def. Hendricks/Windsor (F) 8-4; No. 2: Stefan Mojovic/Huber (R) def. Adams/sophomore Dustin Lee (F) 8-6; No. 3: Brandon Long/Quinton Ashburn (R) def. freshman Miles Johnson/freshman Devin Ferro (F) 8-4.

Fulton (5-14) plays in the District 7 individual competition at 9 a.m. Saturday at Washington Park in Jefferson City.
