Freshman Haydon Windsor rolled in a second-set tiebreaker at No. 1 singles to supply the Hornets with their only victory in Tuesday night's 8-1 loss to the Crusaders in the final dual of the regular season at the high school athletic complex.
Windsor won the first set with Helias' T.J. Hagenhoff 6-2 and dropped the second 3-6, before powering his way to a 10-1 win in the tiebreaker.
"Haydon's been pretty consistent for us all year long," Fulton head coach Rob Fisher said. "... Any time we can get a win over a school like Helias, it's a big deal and I couldn't be more excited for him."
Here are the rest of Tuesday night's singles and doubles results:
•No. 2 singles: Klint Braun (H) def. sophomore Justin Adams (F), 6-1, 6-1; No. 3: Ryan Peollock (H) def. freshman Miles Johnson (F), 6-0, 6-1; No. 4: Dylan Growe (H) def. freshman Devin Ferro (F), 6-1, 6-1; No. 5: Dalton Buchjost (H) def. sophomore James Hill (F), 6-2, 6-0; No. 6: Tristan Growe (H) def. freshman Isaiah Mackley (F), 6-1, 6-3.

Fisher made special mention of Windsor and Adams, who were partnering in doubles for the first time this season.
"I was really impressed," Fisher said. "... They'd never played together before and played a solid opponent, and almost won."
The Hornets (5-13) play in the North Central Missouri Conference championships at 9 a.m. Friday in Marshall.
