The Hornets improved their season record to 5-11 after Thursday night's 8-1 non-conference triumph over the Spartans.
"It's really nice to get back in the win column," Fulton head coach Rob Fisher said. "Getting that confidence is always important."

•No. 1 singles: freshman Haydon Windsor (F) defeated Tommaso Zambonelli (B), 10-1; No. 2: sophomore Grant Hendricks (F) def. Shelby Galen (B), 10-5; No. 3: Connor Hennessy (B) def. freshman Miles Johnson (F), 11-9; No. 4: freshman Devin Ferro (F) def. Leroy Wright (B), 10-4; No. 5: Fulton won by forfeit; No. 6: Fulton won by forfeit.

The Hornets - still seeking their first North Central Missouri Conference victory - host conference foe Hannibal at 4:30 p.m. Monday. Fulton is 0-5 in NCMC play.
